We were importing a number of inventory via an excel file when we ran into this issue.

The reason why this is happening is due to the excel error message we encountered when we tried importing the excel file in the beginning. This happens only when using the cloud version of the software and exceed 250 character limit.

The workaround for this is to upload the excel file in the LOCAL version (not cloud).

The long UDF field doesn’t get cut off in the local version, so you backup the data and move that data over to the cloud.

Then, you restore the backup in the cloud. Let us know if this worked for you!
